With the chaos of a new summer schedule, I have allowed my habits and my health to slip. Earlier this week something inside me snapped and I immediately went to the grocery store. I picked up the items you see below and more. It is not the cleanest cleanse ever (Feta and non-organic OJ are big cheats) but it is effective and gentle and I am already feeling better. Last night I had an awesome salad and 1.5 liters of spring water:
- Red and Green Romaine
- 1 tsp Strawberry Vinaigrette (watch the label!)
- Feta (this is my 1 big cleanse cheat)
If salad doesn’t sate you, eat more and more. You can have as many greens as you like! I replaced my late night snack with two organic carrots and an excellent homeopathic spray, Liddell’s Weight Loss XL, to aid with the cravings of “dieting.” So far, it is a success.
I am feeling better this morning. I had a banana and some strawberries with water. I used Liddell’s Weight Loss spray and Detox for Chemicals spray. So far, so good. No cravings.
To keep my mind and body humming, I’m throwing in some light walks and kundalini yoga.
Throughout the next few days, I will highlight a few specific foods and how adding them to your diet can make an amazingly positive difference in your health.
Many people try to cleanse for the new year but I encourage you to try it in the summer. Your body will naturally tend towards eating less and eating raw produce in the summer.
